Your Week Ahead: June 2 to 8, 2024 – Everything In Ease

Insight, Investment, Initiative. This week, we have quite a positive message: our planning is paying off and we can now act. In any endeavour, we have the seed of the idea, the testing and planning phase, and the environment that has ripened whereby we can set into motion our decisions. One can’t come before the other. We simply must tend to each phase in a patient manner so that our future footing feels good.

The Page of Pentacles is the investigator. Taking things slowly, he adheres to a principle of integrity with lightness. What are the components of this goal, what are the implications, and how does it feel when he envisions them. All this without the burden of actual commitment frees the mind to play with ideas. Here, we are getting information, and so our curiosity is youthful and scholastic.

The vision is about the fullness of something. Perhaps the fulfillment, however, that might be a stretch. Looking to see how we are a close part of an abundant quality is what the page could be thinking about. What are some of the limitations that surround what we want? How can we get from “here to there”, meaning, what is separating us?

The 10 of Pentacles is a rich card. It shows how the energy of abundance and provisions surround us, and how things are working very well even to the point of not noticing it. Does the page feel left out? What is causing this sensation? The dualism of the outer world often leaves us feeling that we don’t have enough or that we can’t match up to something. This is the illusion and the page might be working with that.

Whatever the case, there is a link between the page and the 10 and it can have very much to do with our sense of planning and tending without any of the emotional issues playing with our perspectives. The 10 of Pentacles represents that feeling of stepping inside an energetic field and knowing that we are a part of it. To appreciate its flow and generosity is how we make the mundane element a metaphysical one.

Many wonderful opportunities arise as well as the opening of doors when we feel our sense of worth. We don’t stand combatively and say brashly, “I am worthy!” Only insecure people with a powerful need to compensate for something do this. Everything in ease. When we step out of the way, the way is shown. We do our part by having a desire to grow and invest in our future. Then, we invite the beautiful path to open by which we feel inspired to act.

Of course, we may not always see it as inspiration because we may have been very attached to how we thought things would go. However, there is usually a tingling behind the ears, so to speak, that beckons us to say “yes”. The Knight of Wands gives us that initiative. He may not have all the answers yet but he represents the energy of acting upon our desires and goals. There will be a next chapter, and a next and a next…

The point here is that we are experiencing movement. While the 10 of Pentacles is a culminating card of resources, we need to celebrate it and acknowledge it by not losing the wonderment of the page. The Knight of Wands is at the beginning of his journey. Something opens up for him and he is calling us forward to experience it beyond the walls of our perceived ideas of what is possible.

Affirmation: What I know, I can’t explain. It is all around me; the desire to be greater than my former self. I now invite the way forward, the path ahead and the blessings to guide to where I am meant to be, to where my joy sings as it sings right now, celebrating the flow of life.
