What do you know? What’s next? Are you where you want to be, or do you need to revise your approach? Pensive, cautious, weighty. These are interesting times and it feels as though much is at stake. Something is off, a little smell in the woods that eludes one of a rotting carcass. We feel perturbed, disgruntled, anxious and ready to take action. But the path is unclear. What am I unhappy about exactly?
We are treading in areas where what we are told can’t be taken at face value any longer. We crave stability. We may not want everything all perfect and assured, but we are asking for respect and to feel valued. Such is the story that is revealed in this week’s reading.
While the Jack (or Page) is not an overly serious card, it does represent an investigation. One might say it’s about our curiosity, but I would take that deeper, for being curious for its own sake takes away our desire to be somewhere better and to know better; to be better equipped in some way. We’re always headed somewhere. To know why, is to acquire information that will empower us and gives us the tools necessary to perform at our best.
Perhaps his reflective, piercing eyes suggest that we have seen through the illusion that was placed over us. As we move into the 10 of Coins, I come back to the idea of respect – self-respect. The 10 describes a long journey, and it’s about to feel as though we’ve come to a kind of completion.
Here, we know what is valuable. Not just what but who. Not just who but how. How it’s all connected to our personal growth. How we express ourselves, how we relate to others and how they relate to us, and how they perceive us. While it is unclear whether we walk away from something, or simply that we acknowledge ourselves and in turn are acknowledged, we do seem to have made the right choice.
There is the sensation that we have crossed over to the other side and that we have stabilized the situation through our insightfulness and mindfulness. Even as we look out over our affairs and the components or complexities of things, we do so with maturity, dignity and authority.
Applying structure, boundaries and our wisdom, we orient our world to our desires. We find gravity and centre so that we don’t feel thwarted or reactive. We are not easily pulled into anything which lowers our benchmark. In fact, we are exuding a vibrational stance that exemplifies our standards, not in a way that dominates or antagonizes. We express respect in the same manner in which we ask to receive the same; an energetic exchange of integrity. You know it’s working when everyone feels a space to contribute and to feel valued.
In the days that follow, follow your insights so that they lead you to what is authentic and wholesome. Orient your standards of success around integrity, or simply around that which feels good and right. Feel good about yourself and what you offer. Don’t feel diminished, and more, don’t accept diminishment however subtle. You are valuable and it’s okay to show this to others without taking anything away from anyone.
Affirmation: I observe. I wait. I seek to know the authentic way forward. I feel my worth and I embrace the abundance that flows into my life. In this moment of clarity and inner gravity, I stand up, tall and radiant. I know myself.
Thanks for reading, and I wish you a wonderful week!
