Your Week Ahead: September 27 to October 3, 2020 – Concluding Our Affairs

It’s decision time. This week’s reading, taken as a whole, is about some kind of advancement that we have been working very hard towards and what looks to be unfolding now. We are approaching a period of personal expression that is vital to the existence of our inherent true nature. There’s is momentum and energy driving this and what is coming will shape many things in our future.

The appearance of the King of Wands is indicative of our responsibility to ensure that our future direction is sound. He is particularly astute in determining what needs to be left behind in order for the future to be sustainable. Coupled with the 8 of Wands, we see a clear delineation between the past and future which emphasizes this and the King’s role in this reading.

This King has done well to lay a strong foundation for personal strategy. He rises above many mundane and mediocre benchmarks because he understands the weaknesses inherent in pursuing paths that are nonsensical and manufactured by ulterior motives. He will not follow along simply because fashion or pressured social opinion suggests he should do so.

He waits. He is patient. He represents our ability to understand properly timed action and sits ready and able to get going as soon as his judgement deems appropriate. And he will not flinch. Such is his gift in integrity and self-dedication.

The placement of the King here is also showing his vigilance in protecting what intentions he has previously launched. Components of ideas and goals needed guidance and attention to detail. His ability to bring closure to irrelevant baggage allows his most prized and selected plans to move forward.

In so doing, the skies become clear of psychic debris and contending opinions that would otherwise obfuscate his purpose and his outstanding focus. There is a message here of, “Skies are clear – you’re good to go”. But we must continue to take care that this process meets its intended target.

We can’t look away. Our senses are heightened and things are shifting beneath us. As we experience this, we need to remain uncompromisingly truthful about what is needed and where we are wanting development. Truthfully, it is the sensation of “not going back”, that in fact going back is impossible because so much has changed. Some people will just need to accept that a new you has shown up and that their relationship to you will be different.

This requires courage. It can be a statement and example that shows our fortitude and commitment in life. The Strength card shows our ability to show these qualities to the world and those in our experience. It suggests that we are in new territory and that we not only understand how to express ourselves, but that it is a creative moment that allows us to show our authenticity in a new way.

We may need to pay attention and have valuable restraint. We may need to be very honest and straightforward. However, we can still be kind in our clarity. Whatever is materializing now will require mindfulness and compassion. It may also require a firm hand. But we are up for the task, for so much has been accomplished.

Let us get clear about what needs to be concluded in order to allow our future success. What we are striving for, and indeed where we are headed, is a paradigm that is realigning our lives to be more in balance with what we really want, and with a vision that is unmistakably ours. To this, we must stay true.
