When the warmth of optimism and joy dominate our mindset, everything becomes relaxed and easy. We feel connected to ourselves and to nature, and things that normally pass us by seem to get noticed and appreciated for their simple pleasures. Just as our muscles loosen and relax in a warm bath, so too our psychic bodies and overall being respond to the sense that no pressure is needed, that all is as it should be, and that our paths are lit by the light of positivity.
Being positive per se often gets this response that we should live in a dream world and that we should smile in a Pollyanna manner. This denotes a somewhat superficial aspect and misses the point or opportunity. Fundamentally, being positive is about choice. Choosing what we focus on is absolutely key in determining what kind of energy we settle into.
A simple practice of appreciating what is working well and gently expressing the desire to invite more of that kind of curious creativity is a balance we play off of by steering ourselves away from what we already may know to be unwanted. We shouldn’t ignore anything uncomfortable, rather, we should be aware of not staying in the vibration where everything that is wrong dominates.
The Sun card indicates a kind of feeling that we are under a blessed sky. It is the environment where things thrive and that we are open to solutions. Appreciation is the gateway to more of what is wholesome and nourishing. We suddenly have access to abundance and grace in a way we didn’t before. The sun melts away our worries, and worrying is simply the imagination creating a series of events based on anxiety or fear.
This isn’t to suggest that we shouldn’t examine the future and to use discernment. The difference is subtle and requires our mature awareness to know when we are being productive and when we are wasting valuable mental energy by venting problems and continuously bringing bad material into the forefront of our consciousness. We have a choice.
In a sense, The Ace of Swords might reveal to us this ability to know what to focus upon and more importantly why. Clarity comes out of the grace and brilliance of the sun. That warmth has opened our bodies and relaxed us so that we can see the truth about something. It’s that OMG or A-ha feeling, and something here feels as if we are feeling rather excited about this beautiful new idea.
Suddenly, inspiration illuminates our minds and we move ourselves into the driver’s seat. We want to take some action now because the way forward is quite clear to us. The Magician is taking up that sword and it transforms into a wand of electrical conduction. He becomes a grounding force of cosmic energy. He brings into physical manifestation something revealed to him through the experience of The Sun’s blessings and the Ace of Swords’ clarity.
There is a strong indication of excellent timing, as if the opportunity to act is wonderfully presented to us. This action may be something tangible or it could represent the beginning of a new way of operating. The ace seems to open a door while The Magician is deciding what to do on the other side of that experience.
Perhaps the realization about how and what we create comes to us based on our focus or deliberate mindset. What we bring into our lives has suddenly become a spiritual devotion and practice. We are committed to it as we are committed to our growth. We can choose what we bring into our experience. The Magician appears to be choosing wisely.
This week’s message to us is to devote ourselves to the productive and nourishing side of action. We are responsible for our happiness, no one else. We have the power to ground into matter those vibrations we let dominate our mind. For every dark corner, there is one lit with blessings and solutions. What gets noticed depends on where we are looking. This is a wonderful reading but we shouldn’t take it for granted. The universe always meets us halfway when we walk towards its wisdom and grace. Let’s do our part so that we enjoy the bountiful boons that are all around us.
Affirmation: Thank you for the warmth of grace and beauty that surrounds me. Let me always point myself in your abundant direction where all that I need comes to me easily. As I act with clarity and purpose, may I bring into physical manifestation that which serves my highest well-being. I am now creating on purpose.
Thanks for reading, and I wish you a wonderful week!
