Your Week Ahead: November 7 to 13, 2021 – Toward Achievements

The future is a kind of practical joke. The more we try to direct where we should go, the more life seems to change beneath our feet. What we think we want is usually not what shows up. And yet, the moment we find ourselves in what has unfolded, we often think how much better it turned out. We are amazed and surprised by how much better the universe did at creating our future than we did.

But to say we didn’t have a part to play would be very far from the truth. We are never separated from our intentions. It is a sacred dance that we participate in, casting our seeds here and there, and finding joy along the way. We often try so desperately to make things happen and to think we grasp the big picture. To come back to simplicity and humility is to find wisdom in a beautiful flower, in the beautiful blue sky, and in the joy of animals.

Life is the grace that happens between the spaces of deadlines and schedules. It is getting caught in a downpour and having only the forest to shield us. It is the book we open because the power that went out forced us to physically touch our environment and to think something other than what we planned. It is the fresh air that blows into our consciousness that takes us to where we need to be in order to realize something that we desire deeply. So deeply, it is beyond our words.

As this week begins, feel the wind blowing us toward something that is calling our name. There may be subtle shifts around, directing us or guiding us. The 8 of Wands is about the energy of our intentions finding grounding. The momentum behind that energy is carrying us effortlessly to some meaningful destination.

The grounding point seems to reflect harmony among people close to us, reflected in the 3 of Cups. This strongly suggests a positive outcome, one that will produce much joy and generosity. Everyone seems to benefit as this harvest is celebrated. This moment of harmony and closeness lifts our spirits, and quite possibly, good things are afoot.

What spills over from this joyful interaction midweek is a sense that we are acknowledged in some way. A probable experience is the sensation that we are valued and recognized for being loyal to our path. If we have bumped up against adversity, this may be a time where the future opens up for us that invites us forward, and past those that have held us back.

All three cards have a beautiful blue sky linking them in optimism. We are shown signs of being supported both by the winds of Great Spirit and by those we love. The commitment we have shown to ourselves is the integrity that others notice. The light we shine in this world is the light that others can benefit from. It is an unconditional light that doesn’t require fellowship – it inspires it.

Affirmation: The future is more beautiful than I had imagined. It is opening up more and more for me, and it is a joy to watch. Thank you universe for the gifts you have given me and the blessings that keep showing up in my life. I allow all the best elements to come together in ways that not only benefit me, but all beings. Light is eternal and sacred and I am honoured to share and be a part of it.
