Your Week Ahead: April 16 to 22, 2023 – Between Self and Source

Beginning anything brings forth a certain amount of courage from us. We face uncertainty and perhaps anxieties, but something within us, some undeniable voice tells us to be bold and take that first step. This is such a time to be bold and to walk through doors that open. Those doors maybe self-initiated or presented to us. Whichever the case, a new cycle is emerging this week as a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries square Pluto shines its energy mid to late this week.

When the Fool appears, a new path emerges and a sense that we are walking into new territory, somewhat unfettered, perhaps naive, perhaps unaware of the entire scope of what lies ahead. No matter, it’s not important at this time. What is important is the impetus to initiate ourselves into that sphere.

In fact, the message could very well be, don’t take things so seriously. Be light and easy about it. In play, we have a chance to create things and be spontaneous. This will be like a magical key that gives us a push through an opening and into the fresh air of possibilities. Leaving behind the “serious” adult actually works well here and serves our connection to source energy. When water thaws from the high mountain snow packs, it doesn’t think, “no, I will not thaw dammit!”. When it travels down the spring, gathering speed, it doesn’t claw back against the rocks, wanting to stay where it was.

This week is like a gentle thaw that presents an opportunity for movement and growth. We will do very well to connect with this flow from the universe and allow it to guide us to where we need to be. The 2 of Wands suggests this gentle approach. The two wands are emitting from a central star and the zodiac. It describes a pathway through the astrological signs, which itself is indicative of a new cycle.

We can move into the realm of this potential with a positive and productive energy, paying attention to our desires and participating in this phase by being clear about our intentions. The key is to be open enough to notice something new and not simply hold on to what is safe or acceptable.

If we can find that balance between self and Source, between ego and Spirit, then we can create movement and allow abundance to flow from that kind of surrender. Where we may even find more benefit is by feeling how beautiful we can be supported once we let that momentum guide to whatever arises.

In other words, recognize where you might have been stuck and pondering things too much. Take some inspired action and take that first step. See where you are led and what opens up. Allow this opening to gently bring you in touch with what you want and don’t be afraid to state it openly, even if you think it’s silly. There is enough energy here to launch something and propel you to more of what is harmonious.

Towards the end of the week, there will be a sense of acceleration and of clarity. You might feel energetic and recognize some accomplishments. This New Moon Solar Eclipse has the potential to makes things very clear and to transform your environment and status quo. Somethings may end to make room for new things to emerge. You have every reason to celebrate these changes, even if they should unfold over the next several months.

Affirmation: I initiate a change in consciousness and take my first step towards a new environment. I feel wonderfully connected and supported by Source and know that all things are taking me to a successful outcome where I can be more myself. I am Free to be Me.
